I prepared this dish yesterday, it is very simple and quick to prepare, and it turns out delicious. I wanted to share this recipe today and since I’ve been studying for the exam all day, I haven’t been able to do it until now. To be honest, I was just going to upload a picture and prepare an outline for tomorrow, but I also “wrote down” the recipe. Hope you will try this recipe and share your results with me.

Sour cream chicken

Total Time 30 minutes
Servings 8

  • 800 g chicken leg quarters
  • 3 tbsp sour cream
  • 1.5 cup water
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 2 onions
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic
  • 25 g butter
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • to taste salt, black and red pepper flakes

  • Separate chicken quarters into drumsticks and thighs. Cut thighs into 2-3 pieces.
  • Heat the pan, pour oil, and add butter, when the butter melts put the chicken pieces on the pan and fry on medium-high heat for 10 minutes on one side and 5 minutes on the other side.
  • While the chicken pieces are cooking, chop the onion and mince the garlic. After you flip the chicken and 5 minutes have passed, add the onion and garlic, and continue cooking for 3 minutes on medium heat.
  • In the meantime, prepare sour cream sauce: mix flour, sour cream, salt, black and red pepper in a bowl, mix, and then slowly add water.
  • Pour the sauce over the fried chicken and keep it on low heat for 10 minutes.
