Separate chicken quarters into drumsticks and thighs. Cut thighs into 2-3 pieces.
Heat the pan, pour oil, and add butter, when the butter melts put the chicken pieces on the pan and fry on medium-high heat for 10 minutes on one side and 5 minutes on the other side.
While the chicken pieces are cooking, chop the onion and mince the garlic. After you flip the chicken and 5 minutes have passed, add the onion and garlic, and continue cooking for 3 minutes on medium heat.
