Heat oil in a deep pan. Add finely chopped garlic and cook for 1 minute. Then add chopped tomatoes, olives, cappers, and red pepper flakes. Stir. Simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti according to package directions. Drain the water from the cooked spaghetti and add it to the prepared sauce. Mix well.
