Easy apple cake

  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g sugar
  • 300 ml heavy cream
  • 80 ml milk
  • 2 tsp orange essence
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 200 g flour
  • 1.5 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp cloves (ground)
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 apples


  • Beat the eggs with a pinch of salt and sugar until the mixture is fluffy and pale in color. Then mix in heavy cream and orange essence.
  • Sift flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and baking powder in a separate bowl, add cinnamon and cloves, mix well and then add to the egg mixture, mix well with a hand whisk.
  • Add milk to a batter and stir.
  • Peel the apple and cut it into half-centimeter-thick pieces. Pour half of the batter into a greased mold (33×22 cm). Spread half of the apple on it, sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on the apple to taste, pour the other half of the batter, and arrange the remaining apple on it. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon again.
  • Put it in an oven heated to 180-190 °C and bake for 25-30 minutes. Check with a toothpick, if it comes out dry, it is ready.
