If you have little time, but want to make a delicious cake, this recipe is for you. You will need a few ingredients for this cake roll, and the result will really impress you. You can use any kind of jam, depending on your taste and ability.

Cake roll with jam

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp cold water
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 5 tbsp flour
  • jam
  • powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions 

  • Separate the egg white and yolk. Add water to the egg whites and beat until you get a foamy mass, slowly add sugar, then egg yolks and honey. Beat well.
  • Finally, sift in the flour and mix carefully with a silicone spatula. Put parchment paper on the baking form, apply a little oil, and spread the dough, bake in an oven heated to 180 °C. It will take about 8 minutes.
  • Transfer the sponge cake to a wet tea towel, carefully remove the paper, spread the jam, and roll it carefully with the help of the towel. Finally, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
