Fruit tarts are easy to prepare and have an amazing flavor. In addition, it is light and very tasty. The combination of apple and cherry turned out to be extraordinary, it has a very good aroma and the flavors are quite well suited to each other.
Apple and cherry tart

- 26-28 cm tart pan
Ingredients
- 1.5 cup flour
- 125 g cold margarine
- 6 tbsp cold water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 big apples
- 2 cups pitted cherries
- 50 g sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2.5 tbsp corn starch
Instructions
- Sift the flour in a bowl, add salt and mix. Then rub the cold margarine, and mix with your hands. Add cold water and knead the dough. Wrap in a plastic wrap and refrigerate until you prepare the filling.
- To prepare the filling, peel the apple and cut it into small cubes, place it in a bowl, add cherries (if using frozen cherries, defrost them and add without juice), sugar, cinnamon, corn starch and mix well.
- Divide the dough into two parts, roll it out on a floured surface, transfer it to a tart pan, pull out the sides, and spread the filling. You can also roll out the second part of the dough and cover it, or decorate it as shown in the photo.
- Put it in the oven heated to 200°C and bake for 35-45 minutes. It should get a nice golden color. Cool for about 30 minutes and serve.Bon Appetit!
