Moreover, fasting recipes do not have any cooking restrictions during the not fasting period, so you can use this recipe even now. There is also a non-fasting version on the blog, but today’s version is more budget-friendly and no less tasty.
Walnut croissant cookies (vegan)
Ingredients
Dough
- 300 g flour
- 100 ml warm water
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 100 ml vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- pinch of salt
Filling
- 1.5 tbsp sugar
- 50 g walnuts (ground)
Instructions
- Add baking powder to the flour and mix.
- In a separate bowl, mix together warm water, oil, sugar, salt, and vanilla.
- Add the liquid ingredients to the flour and knead a soft, elastic dough. It will be ready in a few minutes.
- Filling: mix sugar and walnut together.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface, knead it a little. Divide into 3 equal parts. Roll each part thinly, about 2-3 mm thick. Divide into 8 triangles. On the wide end of the triangle, put 1/2 tsp of filling, roll up from this part.
- Place the cookies on a baking sheet (lay baking paper on the plate or sprinkle some flour), put it in an oven heated to 180°C degrees and bake for 20-25 minutes.Bon Appetit!
