Walnut croissant cookies (vegan)

Ingredients

Dough

  • 300 g flour
  • 100 ml warm water
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 100 ml vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • pinch of salt

Filling

  • 1.5 tbsp sugar
  • 50 g walnuts (ground)

Instructions 

  • Add baking powder to the flour and mix.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together warm water, oil, sugar, salt, and vanilla.
  • Add the liquid ingredients to the flour and knead a soft, elastic dough. It will be ready in a few minutes.
  • Filling: mix sugar and walnut together.
  • Transfer the dough to a floured surface, knead it a little. Divide into 3 equal parts. Roll each part thinly, about 2-3 mm thick. Divide into 8 triangles. On the wide end of the triangle, put 1/2 tsp of filling, roll up from this part.
  • Place the cookies on a baking sheet (lay baking paper on the plate or sprinkle some flour), put it in an oven heated to 180°C degrees and bake for 20-25 minutes.
