  • 4 dates (pitted)
  • 1.5 cups milk (370 ml)
  • 1/2 cup water (120 ml)
  • 30 g cocoa powder
  • 40 g dark chocolate

Instructions 

  • Soak the dates and almonds in ½ cup of hot milk for 30 minutes.
  • Transfer the soaked mixture to a blender, add cocoa powder and water, and blend until smooth.
  • Pour the blended mixture into a saucepan, add the remaining milk and chopped chocolate. Heat over medium-low, stirring constantly until the chocolate melts completely.
  • Remove from heat and serve warm.
