Beat sugar and egg together, add melted butter and baking soda dissolved in yogurt. Slowly add flour and vanilla. Knead the dough for 4-5 minutes. You should get a soft dough. Then cover the dough with a tea towel and let it rest for 15-30 minutes.
Mix ground walnuts and sugar in a separate bowl.
Divide the dough into several parts and roll it out on a floured surface. Apply oil and sprinkle walnut and sugar mix all over the dough. Roll it up and cut it into medium-sized pieces.
Transfer the rolls to a floured baking dish and place in an oven heated to 180°C. Bake for 20 minutes.Bon Appetit!
