Shkmeruli - fried chicken in milk & garlic sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken (small)
  • 500 ml milk
  • 8 clove garlic
  • 50 g butter
  • to taste salt

Instructions 

  • Melt the butter on a hot pan, place the chicken skin side down on the pan, fry on both sides, then cut into desired pieces.
  • Boil the milk until it reduces to 300 ml.
  • Place the chicken pieces in a ketsi or pan. Add the remaining fat after frying the chicken to the milk, salt, crushed garlic, mix and pour over the chicken.
  • Place the ketsi/pan in the oven heated to 190 degrees for 10-15 minutes. When the chicken is browned, take it out and serve it hot.
