Classic Hummus

Total Time 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 3 cups chickpeas (boiled or canned )
  • 1/3 cup tahini
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 lemon juice
  • to taste salt
  • 3-4 pcs ice cube
  • extra virgin olive oil (for serving)

Instructions 

  • Put chickpeas and finely chopped garlic in a blender or food processor and blend for a few minutes.
  • Then add ice, tahini paste, lemon juice, and salt, and turn on the blender. When you get the creamy mixture, it is ready.
  • If you want your hummus to be a little thinner, you can add hot water and blend again for a few minutes.
  • While serving, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with some chickpeas, and arrange olives (optional).

Notes

If you use canned chickpeas, be sure to rinse the water.
